Founded in 2011, Bow Street LLC is an opportunistic special-situations investment firm that targets complex, off-the-run opportunities across public and private markets.
Bow Street focuses on situations where legal, structural, or operational complexity leads to mispricing, and where value can be unlocked through rigorous underwriting, flexible capital deployment, and active involvement.
We aim to convert complexity into repeatable outcomes by identifying asymmetric opportunities, controlling downside risk, and generating uncorrelated returns that are difficult to access through conventional investment strategies.
We operate dedicated investment platforms in real estate special situations, uncorrelated strategies, and other idiosyncratic investments. Real Estate
Bow Street’s real estate platform targets special situations across both public and private markets in the U.S. and Europe. We focus on transitional or distressed assets where outcomes depend on active engagement, creative structuring, and control of the process.
Our work spans recapitalizing bankrupt developments, repositioning mismanaged portfolios, navigating regulatory hurdles, and executing asset-level turnarounds.
We do not rely on market beta or passive asset appreciation. Instead, we aim to unlock value through targeted interventions and high-conviction execution, particularly in situations that fall outside traditional real estate mandates.
Litigation Finance
Bow Street’s uncorrelated strategy focuses on litigation-related assets, particularly in Europe, where liability is well established but structural inefficiencies limit traditional capital participation. In 2018, Bow Street launched TransAtlantis, a dedicated European business that sources, aggregates, and manages litigation claims at scale.
We underwrite process risk rather than legal outcomes. The situations we target involve established liability, but value must be unlocked through claims aggregation, evidence management, and legal process execution.
This platform aims to deliver downside-protected, uncorrelated returns by combining flexible capital with operational infrastructure that other investors are unwilling or unable to build.
